Seoul before and after the rain. We stayed at Lotte Hotel with its highly sophisticated garden setting ... exotique and zen-thingy. The city itself was adorable... a mixture of tradition and modernity. I spent time walking up and down the Metro, visited markets, palace, building and avenue of the ministry of foreign affairs' office ... wherever, whenever, day and night, it is indeed a beauty
