Yes, finally I got the chance to hop-in and off to Tokyo after the official meeting in Seoul. It took an hour and 40 mins somethin' to reach Tokyo by plane from Seoul... the clear sky and winter windy breeze welcomed my first steps at the Tokyo Narita Airport.... whoaa..... the days ahead were d total amazement and fun adventure ... I just love being lost in translation in Tokyo.......... where I had to take much longer time to reach Tokyo Station just because I stepped on the JR (metro-train) in a wrong direction... of wandering around the station just to find where the hell is the line for underground train to Asakusa Temple, of running as fast as I can to reach the metro door, of realising that I could actually run that fast to catch my flight back to Jakarta, after missing the exact departure time of the Narita Express Train.

I love being able to feel big, small, alone, not alone, befriends, being tourist, being a young hip lady, being an observer ... in Ginza, Harajuku, Shibuya, Shinjuku ... I love being like a child amazed by the grandeur of the largest intersection in the world of Shibuya... love to look up the hanging "Takashimaya Times Square" with one of the coolest-designed Starbucks coffeeshop in the front... the neon-made X'mas Tree, the hype, the stylish people, the fact that these super-stylish young generation are said to be searching for their identities located in between the traditional Japanese and d so-called modern Western cultures...

The bottom line is: I am completely ripped off... Tokyo is bloody expensive as well... but hey, I've never seen so many people carrying designer items like that, almost every 5 mins there were always Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc. So I guess the Japs earn enough to spend it enough, too. ;-)

Words in thousand phrases will never be able to describe how I feel about Tokyo and Japan in general. I fell in love instantly. Perhaps d pictures could speak better that words. OK, I'll upload the pics soon. :)
